After the flat roof has been completed, you will receive a certificate of the CO2 neutral roof membrane, which you can use for
their own sustainability reporting and building certification. For this purpose, POLYFIN AG works together with a provider certified according to the "Gold Standard". The certificate is issued by the provider for the project in question. In fact, each compensation measure can only be used once.
After 48 hours of free exposure to weathering and UV light, a patina forms on the surface of the Polyfin membrane, which must be removed before welding. A safe method for this is the process of sanding with a satin-finish sanding device.
After intensive research and testing, it is now possible to clean all Polyfin Standard sheets (light gray) with the new V 103 seam cleaner. After a flash-off time of at least 30 minutes, hot-air welding can then be carried out as usual with new material, and pre-cleaning can be dispensed with for new material that has not been exposed to UV light for more than 48 hours.
When using the seam cleaner V 103, please follow the processing and safety instructions exactly!
Attention Seam cleaner V 103 is only to be used for Polyfin Standard Matieral 30xx and 40xx light gray. It is not suitable for use with Polyfin Duo material.
