The walkway tiles must not be welded directly onto the waterproofing. They must be welded onto a carrier membrane that has been laid separately beforehand. The seam areas must be welded all around with hot air. The longitudinal seams can be produced using the automatic welding machine. See also the installation instructions from POLYFIN AG in the currently valid version. A distance of ≥ 4 cm must be maintained between the individual walkway tiles. It is recommended to leave an unwelded area (approx. 4 - 8 cm) in the seam on the side facing away from the slope to allow for vapor pressure equalization.Due to the effects of thermally induced length changes, the outside temperature should be at least +10°C during processing.
